About Us- Part Three

We returned to Mull in 2005, well three times to be precise. In spring, summer and autumn and Tobermory Isle of Mulleach time we saw golden and sea eagles and otter. We visited the hide at Loch Frisa to see Itchy & Scratchy as championed by Simon King. We also met Chris Packham filming sand martins for his recently broadcast BBC2 wildlife series Hands on Nature. And in search of corncrake we paid a visit to Iona, no problem hearing them but they are as elusive as a Bittern to spot.

Back on Mull we had two separate sightings of a school of Bottle Nosed Dolphins the second sighting just 20 ft from the shore.

So before you consider an exotic trip to some far flung foreign land consider what our own wonderful islands have to offer.

Isle of Mull

April 2006 saw us realise the first part of our exciting new venture with the purchase of Creagorry We are planning a couple of minor alterations in May with a view to being operational as a small Bed & Breakfast for July 2006.

So, If you’re planning to holiday in Scotland why not get in touch and may be we can share our knowledge and enthusiasm for the Isle of Mull.
